Osasuna and Defensive Woes

In the last few games, Osasuna has shown courage, determination and corazon. It is clear that this is one team that does not want to be relegated or sent back to the Spanish Second Division.

It is common knowledge that being relegated to such Division means massive revenue loss, thus not being able to hold on to premium players. Unfortunately, there seems to be a problem with Osasuna when it comes to closing out games, such as the ones against Real Madrid or Barcelona.

You do not win games by being unable to know how to close out games or retain your lead. That goes for any sport. Osasuna must find a solution to its offensive woes or face being relegated back to the second tier.

Another Christmas

Another Christmas or Holiday Season came and went. I cannot believe it. We have entered 2009, which means some of us sooner or later during this year will become one year older. Every year I make myself the same promise-- to find someone. But yet, here I am alone. Sometimes I wonder if there is something wrong with me-- am I being too picky? I just do not want to sell myself short. Does it make sense?
