In the last few years, the Internet has taken over our daily routine, life. It has enabled us to stay in touch with our loved ones, friends and even meet new people. No question this means of communication has been one of best technological advances in our lifetime. It has made our life easier, including our love life.
Not long ago (hopefully we still remember those times), we used to frequent nightclubs, bars and even places of worship to meet our ideal mate. But that is now pretty much a thing of the past. Everywhere we look, there are new dating sites springing up. Some of them are general and some are very specific, catering to certain segments of the population-- single parents, African-Americans, Latinos, Asians, Catholics, Jewish and so forth.
Some sites promise to find you love in six months or they give you another six months for free. Sounds familiar? It should be.
It is true that they help weed out all bad elements or unwanted, undesirable people. But are these sites truly effective? I believe they are. However, they also tend to attract individuals who happen to be less truthful, flaky. The sites also attract quality people.
Just my thoughts. Kind of late. If this post makes no sense, I will edit it and re-write it.
